The Challenge

Rafael Garoz, a renowned psychotherapist in Madrid, was wishing a different website, he didn´t want a traditional corporative website for his existential psychotherapy cabinet, neither a common web blog to write, plus being Rafael a psychotherapist, he is a prolific writer and also wished to use his new website as a platform in order to show his writing.

The challenge for us was combine the three client´s goals in a single website with a high percentage of text, but our experience and knowledge made possible to create this project with a great success.

The Solution

Customer narrative was the most important and adapt it to this reality web format has been possible thanks to the use of offline magazine layout resources such as: great headlines, quotes, indents … With a large and readable typography and a high background contrast.

Besides we have also created a specific type of content in order to display the author’s books in a specific section and static pages have been used in order to show the corporate information of the cabinet.

Adaptation of the traditional layout of magazines to the web environment using graphic elements that highlight the text and a lot of air between the different elements.



Corporative Design

We used colors from the decoration cabinet in order to create the palette of the website and get standardizing the set, besides we created a logo that conveys an interpersonal communication line, reflecting both the activity of the cabinet and the ultimate goal of Rafael Garoz with the website which was communicate through the written word.

Storytelling

The home page of the website is actually the beginning of a novel, the novel of the life of Rafael Garoz where he introduce himself to the readers and tells the story of his vocation in addition to how he has become a widely recognized existential psychotherapist.

Mission accomplished

Rafael Garoz writes regularly on the blog in order to announce news related with the world of existential psychotherapy, he does completely autonomously and only with an initial training of less than one hour.
